CATS

At any given time, we will have 1-4 cats in our care. They are either in rehab/evaluation at our West Cobb location or are available to adopt and interact with at our Powder Springs location. Our feline department is dedicated to helping feral cats, domesticated cats and the humans that care for them.

How can you help?

- Make a donation!

- Interact with us and share our mission!

- Visit the cats on a farm tour!

- Adopt or foster

- Volunteer with us

OUR VISION:

Better lives

For feral cats, friendly cats and the humans who care for them

Our Programs

LUNA offers a range of programs for cats and kittens including surrenders, rescue, rehab, and very limited TNR for cats in the community, to adoption services for socialized cats.

We are 100% volunteer run and 100% foster based.

We do not offer any kind of vet services or medical care.

TRAP - NEUTER - RETURN (TNR)

TNR is a program in which feral cats are humanely trapped, spayed or neutered and then released back into their colonies. Our TNR program allows for individuals to rent humane traps from us.

Once trapped, you are responsible for fixing and releasing the caught cat.

Trap Rental:

$1 per day

$5 per week

ADOPTION

LUNA offers comprehensive adoption services for kittens and adult cats. All adoption fees include vaccinations (Rabies, Rhinotracheitis, Panleukopenia, and Calicivirus), dewormers (praziquantel and fenbendazole), and spay/neuter (if older than six months).

FIV and FeLV testing and a wellness exam is also available for an extra cost.

VOLUNTEERING + FOSTERING

Those who choose to foster cats and/or kittens for us until the cats are ready for adoption or until they find their forever home will be provided with food (Purina One Plus+) and litter (Purina Tidy Cats). We are a foster-based corporation, so every foster home is extremely important to our mission. We are able to provide whatever supplies and cat care guidance you might need. We will also ensure that foster cats in your care are appropriate for your skill level and home environment. To apply to be a foster, please email us for an application - we would love for you to join us!

Have a car and a desire to help kitties? We can use your help! We often need assistance bringing kitties to and from vet clinics.  We are happy to provide materials to keep your car clean and kitty-smell free.

As an all-volunteer group, we are always on the hunt for cat loving volunteers who support our mission. If any of these roles interest you, please email lunafarmandsanctuary@gmail.com to get started.

PUBLIC EDUCATION

Our public education programs provide free help to anyone in need via free access to live contact

We also provide brochures and written materials to individuals

SURRENDER

Surrenders are free, but animals that are already fixed and UTD on vet care OR are willing to fund those things are priority.
