LUNA Farm & Sanctuary is a small, family oriented and youth-run, private operation that is dedicated to the care, protection, and promotion of domestic animals based out of Cobb County, GA.
We currently have 2 in-person locations:
LUNA Farm and Sanctuary at the Homestead in Powder Springs, and LUNA Homebase in West Cobb, Marietta
We LOVE all animals, but we only work with domestic ones.

Tucked into the suburbs of northwest Georgia, LUNA Farm & Sanctuary at the Homestead is a 4.5-acre family and friend farm just outside of scenic Marietta. Our multi-faceted farmstead is devoted to sharing the simple, hard-earned pleasures and values of farm life. We are centered around the love of horses and offer many horse-related services including horse boarding, overnight horse accommodations, free pony sessions, riding lessons and more!

ABOUT US
We specialize in cats, rabbits, and horses and are dedicated to the care, protection and promotion of these critters. From surrendered ponies to abandoned barn cats, every animal here is given a second chance and a loving home. Our services include rescuing, training and retraining, rehoming, selling, and leasing select species, while educating the public, and selling products.
Because we are self-funded and operate on a small, limited facility, we are a for-profit business, and all our proceeds are reinvested directly back into LUNA. We work closely with each and every animal to ensure they receive the care and attention they need to thrive. Each animal is carefully assessed to ensure they are placed in their perfect home that meets their individual and unique needs. There is a very special list of requirements that every furry participant needs to meet before they go to a new home. Our program is known for rehabbing livestock who have experienced trauma or neglect and helping them build trust and confidence. In order to do this at the best of our capabilities, we only have a few at a time.

FARM TOURS
Visit the farm and meet the animals we've rescued. Bring your littles (by appointment) and love, pet and learn about our beautiful horses and learn about our mission and how you can help.
VOLUNTEER / DONATE
We are entirely self-funded by local teens. If you are interested in joining our mission, contact us! We also occasionally accept volunteers and take on apprentices frequently.
SURRENDER
If you have to make the unfortunate decision to give up your pet, we are here to help. We love all our rescues like our own and your pet will receive top notch care during their temporary stay.
Boarding at LUNA is the natural choice for both horses and their owners. Horses enjoy natural living on large, well-maintained pastures safely enclosed with horse-friendly fencing. Most pastures have trees for shade and protection, and horses always have access to fresh water and a salt block.
We believe that horseback riding should be accessible to everyone. Our lessons cater to individuals from various backgrounds - children and adults looking to explore a new hobby, or experienced riders aiming to refine their skills.
If you're curious about horseback riding but not ready to commit long-term, our one-time riding lessons offer the perfect solution.
Summer Camp 2026
We had a great summer camp this year, as always. It is always exciting to see our former campers from the years before, as well as the new campers every season.
We are thrilled to announce that registration for our **2026 Summer Horse Camp** is now open! Be sure to get your registration in as soon as you can so you can get the week(s) you want to attend.
Get your registration in for our summer horse camp May 26 through August 23d. Our annual camp will be here before we know it. We love welcoming back our returning riders and we also love meeting all the new riders every year and getting to know them, too.
$400 per week. Sign up now!
Throw your birthday party at LUNA. The kids get to brush and tack up their horses for a short ride. Then on to the food, cake and presents.

OUR TEAM
We have an extraordinary, small, but dedicated team that keeps everything running with heart and hard work. LUNA's team is unlike others, as it consists primarily of passionate high school students. Our team members bring fresh perspectives, enthusiasm, and a deep love for animals. We believe in fostering a hands-on learning environment where youth can grow, gain valuable experience and develop a lifeline love for animals, while paving the way for the future generation. LUNA Farm and Sanctuary was established in 2025 by a small group of teen girls with heart, on 300 acres in Signal Mountain, Tennessee, a nice community just outside of Chattanooga. Our humble beginnings included only a few animals, some horses, some fencing and a run in shed with pastures!

Looking for your next companion? We offer a number of carefully prepared pets and livestock for sale and/or adoption! Every animal that enters our care receives the utmost care and attention to ensure they are healthy, well-socialized and ready for their new home. From loving dogs and cats to other small pets to horses and donkeys there is always something waiting for you.
All dogs, cats, and SOME rabbits and horses are adoptable. Most of our rabbits and horses are FOR SALE and are NOT rescues.
